Cedar Knolls, N.J.-based Tri-County Orthopedics launched a one-year Adult Joint Reconstruction Fellowship program and will welcome its inaugural fellow in August 2027.
The fellowship is accredited by the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and will provide advanced training in adult joint reconstruction, according to a September news release shared with Becker’s.
Training will take place at Tri-County Orthopedics, The Joint Replacement Institute in Bridgewater, N.J., and Morristown (N.J.) Medical Center. The program will cover primary and revision hip and knee replacement, robotic-assisted and outpatient joint replacement surgery, direct mentorship from experienced adult reconstruction surgeons, and clinical, operational and leadership aspects of private orthopedic practice.
Paul Lombardi, MD, president of Tri-County Orthopedics, and John Dundon, MD, a joint replacement surgeon at the practice, will serve as fellowship co-directors.
The fellowship will participate in the San Francisco Matching Program, which coordinates the application and matching process for participating medical residency and fellows
