Orthopedic surgeons must earn there recertification every seven to 10 years. To do that they complete 120 hours of educational classes, partake in a peer review process and take a written and oral exam.
Parsons specializes in the treatment of shoulder and elbow injuries and the treatment of arthritis conditions in the extremities. He was awarded the Charles Neer Award for “excellence in clinical research in shoulder and elbow surgery,” in the past. He has been featured in several publications and presentations.
