Idaho orthopedic surgeon donates $1M to Boise State Athletics

Orthopedic surgeon Richard Moore, MD, has donated $1 million to Boise (Idaho) State Athletics, according to a Jan. 21 report from Bronco Sports.

The gift will go toward funding the Broncos football program. Dr. Moore became interested in Broncos football while working alongside orthopedic surgeon Loren Blickenstaff, MD, who served as president of the Bronco Athletic Association and as a member of the Boise State University Foundation Board. 

Dr. Moore has more than 40 years of experience in medicine, specializing in athletic joint replacements.
