Dr. David Hay operates on Anaheim Ducks player

Jansen Harkins, a forward on the National Hockey League’s Anaheim (Calif.) Ducks, underwent hand surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to a March 31 team news release. 

The procedure was performed by David Hay, MD, an orthopedic hand and wrist surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedics and a consultant for the team, according to an email shared with Becker’s

Mr. Harkins sustained the injury March 24 during a game in Vancouver and is expected to miss approximately four weeks of the season.
