Secaucus, N.J.-based Hudson Regional Health and New York Medical College of Valhalla will launch an orthopedic residency program in the summer, according to an April 28 news release.
The program was recently approved by Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The two organizations affiliated in December, and HRH was designated as a teaching site for NYMC medical students in family medicine, internal medicine, surgery, and now orthopedic surgery.
“This milestone enables the admission of our inaugural class of orthopedic residents this July and reflects our steadfast commitment to advancing the quality of healthcare in Hudson County,” HRH Chair of the Board Yan Moshe, said in the release. “It further underscores Hudson Regional Health’s mission to invest in physician education, expand access to high-quality care, and build a sustainable, community-focused healthcare system that serves the evolving needs of our region.”
