Dr. Eric Heim joins Cooper Clinic — 5 things to note

Eric Heim, MD, a hand surgery specialist and orthopedic surgeon, is joining the orthopedic surgery group at Cooper Clinic in Arkansas, according to The City Wire.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. Dr. Heim will practice with orthopedic surgeons Jeffrey Evans, MD, and John Harp, MD. He will also work with his father, Stephen Heim, MD as well as non-surgical orthopedist, Michael Wolfe, MD.

 

2. Dr. Heim obtained his medical degree as well as completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

 

3. He completed an orthopedic hand surgery fellowship at the University of Colorado. He also received fellowship training in pediatric and congenital hand surgery through Children’s Hospital Colorado.

 

4. Dr. Heim specializes in orthopedic surgery including surgery of the hand, wrist and elbow.

 

5. Cooper Clinic is a physician-owned multispecialty group with physicians in 25 specialties/subspecialties.
