Here are five things to know:
1. The Finger Lakes and Bone and Joint Center partnered with Rochester Regional Health to open the center.
2. The facility will treat patients in need of immediate services for fractures, sprains, cuts and other bone- and joint-related needs.
3. Daniel Alexander, MD, owner and president of Finger Lakes Bone & Joint Center, stated the facility allows patients to receive care without an appointment and provides quality care by its highly-trained physicians and specialists.
4. The Canandaigua facility is opened along will three other orthopedic urgent care facilities in Newark, Geneva and Clifton Springs, all located in New York.
5. Staff members include Chris Brown, MD, a sports specialist; David Cywinski, MD, an orthopedic specialist; and Peter Stasko, MD, and Paul Stasko, MD, who both specialize in foot and ankle surgeries.
