1. Mr. Skapski is in need of hip surgery and is expected to be sidelined four to five months.

 

2. The surgery will repair a labral tear in his right hip.

 

3. Mackenzie Skapski is a goaltender for the Rangers.

 

4. The young athlete earned his first career NHL win Feb. 20 at just 20 years old.

 

5.  Mr. Skapski also had his first career NHL shutout on March 14 in Buffalo.
