HSS creates Patellofemoral Center of Excellence: 4 things to know

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery established its first Patellofemoral Center of Excellence.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The center aims to address the increasing need for patellofemoral disorder awareness and proactive treatment options for those suffering from these disorders.

 

2. Beth E. Shubin Stein, MD, and Sabrina M. Strickland, MD, will provide care at the new center.

 

3. The new center will include both surgical and non-surgical treatment options for patients with patellofemoral arthritis and instability.

 

4. HSS is nationally ranked No. 1 in orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report in its 2015-2016 best hospitals list.
