Irvine, Calif.-based Hoag Orthopedic Institute has added 11 physicians to its staff.
With the additions, HOI has more than 300 physicians on its staff, including more than 80 orthopedic specialists, according to an Oct. 27 news release from the organization.
Here are the new additions:
- Alvin Chan, MD, a neurosurgeon with expertise in brain and spine surgery.
- Casey Slattery, MD, an orthopedic spine surgeon and back pain specialist.
- Kushagra Verma, MD, an orthopedic spine surgeon who treats various forms of spinal anomalies.
- Victor Hong, MD, an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon.
- John Ibrahim, MD, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in conditions affecting the upper extremity.
- Michael Fitzpatrick, MD, an orthopedic surgeon who is double-board certified in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery.
- Matthew Zapf, MD, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine.
- Bassil Aish, MD, a family and sports medicine physician with more than 20 years of clinical experience.
- Connie Oh, MD, a primary care sports medicine physician specializing in metabolic bone health and osteoporosis.
- Nicholas Bacher, MD, a board-certified, fellowship-trained anesthesiologist and interventional pain medicine specialist.
- David So, MD, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement for the treatment of knee and hip arthritis.
