Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Croft served as an orthopedic surgeon in Heidelberg, Germany during his time in the U.S. military.
2. Dr. Croft previously practiced general orthopedics and Level I trauma in Scottsdale, Ariz., for 15 years and in Wyoming for seven years.
3. He specializes in total hip, knee and shoulder reconstruction, sports medicine, rotator cuff repair and trauma.
4. Dr. Croft obtained his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., before training in orthopedic surgery at the combined Presidio Army Base/UC San Francisco residency program. He then completed his training at Sacramento-based UC Davis Medical Center.
