Erie County Medical Center plans $1.8M orthopedic expansion: 5 things to know

Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, N.Y., is planning a $1.8 million orthopedic clinic expansion project, according to a Buffalo Business First report.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The orthopedic expansion includes creating a Center for Orthopedic Care.

 

2. The project will increase clinic space from 1,750 square feet to 6,891 square feet.

 

3. The expansion will also increase the clinic from eight to 14 examination rooms and also includes modernization of the support spaces and staff areas.

 

4. The expansion is part of two renovation/expansion projects at the medical center, which together are valued at nearly $5 million.

 

5. The second project is an upgrade of radiology equipment at the medical center.
