Philip A. Minotti, MD, an orthopedic specialist performed hip surgery on Connecticut State Senate president Martin M. Looney of New Haven, Conn., on June 15, the CT Post reports.

 

In an interview with CBS New York, Stephen Haas, MD, reported a combination of technical developments have improved hip and knee replacement surgery.

 

Orthopedic surgeon Jose B. Toro, MD, joined Orange Regional Medical Center, according to a Hudson Valley News Network report.

 

The Top Doctors Awards honored Daniel. W. Wilen, MD, of the University Physicians of Brooklyn (N.Y.) as a 2017 Top Doctor in Brooklyn, N.Y.
