Dr. Thomas Dwyer to be honored by local New Jersey committee — 3 things to know

Orthopedic surgeon Thomas Dwyer, MD, is set to be recognized at the 11th annual Cumberland County (N.J.) Legends event March 8 for his contributions to the community, The Daily Journal reports.

Three things to know:

1. Dr. Dwyer is president and CEO of Premier Orthopaedic Associates in Vineland, N.J., and an attending faculty member at Rowan University Medical School in Camden, N.J.

2. He specializes in arthroscopic sports medicine, shoulder and knee surgery, according to POA’s website.

3. Dr. Dwyer also trains orthopedic residents at Inspira Health Network in Woodbury, N.J.
