Dr. Richard Marks leads charity effort for homeless: 3 points

Richard M. Marks, MD, led an effort to give homeless men shoes, socks and, in some cases, a quick free foot exam, according to a Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel report.

Here are three points:

 

1. Dr. Marks is the director of the Foot and Ankle Division at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

 

2. He started the local shoe drive in 2007 and now, arranges to help 200 men annually.

 

3. He completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore.
