Dr. Richard Lawton joins team at Moab Regional Hospital

Richard Lawton, MD, PhD joined the team at Moab, Utah-based Moab Regional Hospital, the Moab Sun News reported.

Dr. Lawton will provide orthopedic coverage in Moab Regional Hospital’s emergency room one weekend each month and will visit the hospital twice a month from his practice, Orthopedic Specialists of Durango.

Dr. Lawton received his medical degree from Atlanta-based Emory University, and completed a residency at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic. He completed a fellowship at Vail, Colo.-based Steadman-Hawkins Clinic.
