Dr. Bednar will spend 20 to 25 days each year in this role. He will attend board functions, write exams, examine physicians and chair committees. Dr. Bednar’s term on the board of directors will last 10 years.
He is a professor in the orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation department at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Bednar focuses on upper limb reconstruction, carpal tunnel syndrome and hand injuries.
