1. Dr. Pugh specializes in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries as well as soft tissue injuries and hernia treatments, among others.
2. After earning his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Athens-based Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Pugh completed a residency at Doctors Hospital in Massillon, Ohio.
3. Dr. Pugh served as a trauma surgeon and staff general surgeon in the U.S. Army for four years.
