Here’s what you should know.
1. Dr. Maniar is an orthopedic surgeon subspecializing in fracture care and spine surgery.
2. His career began after he earned his medical degree from the Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College in Mumbai, India. He then earned a master of surgery in orthopedics degree from Topiwala National Medical College in Mumbai.
He came to the U.S. and completed three different fellowships. The first was a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Geisinger Medical Centre in Danville, Pa. The second was a clinical fellowship in orthopedic trauma at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. His third and most recent fellowship was in orthopedic spine surgery at Chicago’s Northwestern University.
3. Dr. Maniar is a fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
