7 orthopedic surgeons receiving honors

Here are seven orthopedic surgeons who were recently recognized for their professional contributions.

Senior Charity Care Foundation, a nonprofit providing seniors in care facilities financial assistance, named Aaron Hofmann, MD, the 2016 Continuum of Caring recipient.

 

Orthopedic surgeons Masafumi Machida, MD; Jean Dubousset, MD; Atsushi Miyake, MD, PhD; Mitsuru Yagi, MD, PhD, and Masakuzu Takemitsu, MD, PhD, received the Scoliosis Research Society's Russell A. Hibbs Basic Research Award.

 

Greenwich (Conn.) Hospital's Mark Vitale, MD, was awarded the Fairfield County Medical Association's Dr. Melville G. Magida Award.
