Dr. H. Kurtis Biggs named a ‘Leading Physician of the World’: 4 notes

Here’s what you should know.

 

1. Dr. Biggs has been in practice for more than 20 years and is currently working out of the Joint Replacement Institute in Naples, Fla.

 

2. His career began after he earned his medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. He completed an internship and a residency at the Doctors Hospital of Stark County in Massillon, Ohio. He then completed a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

 

3. Dr. Biggs is active in several professional societies including the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

 

4. He is also an associate clinical professor at the Ohio University of Osteopathic Medicine.
