1. Prior to joining Banner Health, he was an orthopedic surgeon at Naval hospitals in Jacksonville, Fla., and Charleston, S.C. Dr. Harbach was deployed to Afghanistan in 2007 to 2008 and previously spent time as a flight surgeon.
2. Dr. Harbach also has experience working as an orthopedic surgeon at Joplin, Mo.-based Mercy Hospital.
3. Dr. Harbach completed special flight surgeon training at the Naval Aerospace and Operational Medical Institute in Pensacola, Fla.
4. Dr. Harbach earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno and completed his residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va.
5. His additional training includes a foot and ankle fellowship at Orthopaedic Specialists of Charleston (S.C.).
