Dr. Gregory Berlet named CMO of orthopedic fixation company

Gregory Berlet, MD, was named chief medical officer of orthopedic fixation company Ossio.

In the role, he is tasked with providing leadership in Ossio’s clinical programs as well as in the company’s OSSIOfiber intelligent bone regeneration technology product pipeline, according to a Nov. 2 news release. He’ll continue his clinical practice as a foot and ankle surgeon at the Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Berlet was an early adopter of Ossio’s fiber biointegrative implants, according to the release. He was one of the first surgeons to use the OSSIOfiber Bone Pin portfolio in 2019.
