Dr. Eric Henderson receives VA career development award: 4 notes

Eric Henderson, MD, has received a Veterans Administration New England Career Development Award, according to a Valley News report.

1. Dr. Henderson is orthopedic section chief at White River Junction (Vt.) VA Medical Center, a member of the VA outcomes group based at the medical center and assistant professor at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine in Lebanon, N.H.

 

2. The award includes salary support for research activities.

 

3. Dr. Henderson will be able to use the award to assess shared decision making for veterans with hip and knee osteoarthritis and implement programs focusing on shared decision making in orthopedics.

 

4. Dr. Henderson completed his residency at University of South Florida-Tampa General Hospital.
