1. Dr. Adcock served as an orthopedic provider at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, Ga. He also served as the first medical director of the Center of Orthopedic Excellence at Colquitt Regional Medical Center from 2001 to 2013.
2. Dr. Adcock played a key role in the founding of the Serenity House, a domestic abuse shelter.
3. He has also taken part in numerous medical mission trips to South America.
4. The Walter E. Harrison Jr. Humanitarian Award was established by the Colquitt Regional Medical Foundation to annually recognize a healthcare worker who demonstrates a commitment to compassionate healthcare service and community outreach.
