Advanced Orthopedics New England has added walk-in orthopedic urgent care services at its Bloomfield, Conn., location.
The clinic offers same-day evaluations and treatment for musculoskeletal issues, including sprains, fractures, joint pain and sports injuries, according to a Jan. 29 news release.
The service expands access to subspecialty orthopedic care and aims to reduce unnecessary emergency room and general urgent care visits, which can result in delayed orthopedic referrals.
Advanced Orthopedics New England operates similar urgent care services at other locations across the state.
