Muncie-based Central Indiana Orthopedics has completed 4,000 Mako robotic-assisted surgeries, according to a recent LinkedIn post from the practice.
There are nine surgeons and five robots on the team, providing total hip, total knee and partial knee replacement procedures.
Central Indiana Orthopedics was the first in the region to adopt the Mako technology in 2016.
The practice has eight locations throughout the state, according to its website.
