Here are three things to know:
1. The cone beam CT medical imaging system is being used for an investigational study and is not available for commercial sale.
2. The studies will guide Carestream’s development of new CBCT systems, which can offer excellent bone and soft tissue visualization, and which use less radiation than traditional CT.
3. Carestream will be showcasing new products at the upcoming American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine conference. The products include fully digital radiography imaging systems, as well as the ORTHOVIEW Orthopaedic digital templating software.
