Coral Gables, Fla.-based Baptist Health has appointed Carlos Hernandez as executive leader of Baptist Health Orthopedics
In the role, Mr. Hernandez will strengthen Baptist Health’s partnerships with professional and collegiate sports organizations including the Miami Heat of the NBA, the Miami Dolphins of the NFL, Inter Miami CF of MLS and the Florida Panthers of the NHL, according to a March 23 news release from Baptist Health.
He was also named CEO of Baptist Health Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables.
Mr. Hernandez most recently served as vice president and COO for Baptist Health Doctors Hospital and Baptist Health West Kendall Baptist Hospital in Miami, the release said.
