Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin, Minn., was designated as a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement by Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The Blue Distinction recognizes hospitals that meet rigorous quality standards and demonstrate excellent patient outcomes.
“Being named a Blue Distinction Center reinforces Riverwood’s commitment to excellence,” Ken Westman, Riverwood CEO said in a March 16 news release. “It is a testament to Riverwood’s surgical expertise, focus on safety, and outstanding surgeons and care teams.”
