Four things to know:
1. In 2019, AOC membership grew by more than 37 percent, which now connects over 126 university orthopedic programs.
2. AOC’s female administrative members now outnumber males.
3. Annual meetings will feature webinars, peer mentorship and symposium on member focal points, including negotiations, optimizing peer networks, conflict resolution and managing career trajectory.
4. The forum will be led by Bobette Patterson, chief administrative officer for the department of orthopedics at the University of Iowa in Iowa City and AOC vice president.
