Dr. Epps is the assistant chief of orthopedic surgery and medical director for pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. He earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. His additional training includes a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
Dr. Epps is the secretary of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and first president-elect of the Texas Orthopaedic Association. In 2002, he was an AAOS Leadership Fellow. He is on the AAOS Patient Safety Committee and AAOS Board of Specialty Societies Health Policy Committee.
