Orthopedic and spine practices are constantly looking for ways to stand out, taking measures such as rebranding, changing their names and changing their logos.

Here are six orthopedic practices that have rebranded in the last two years:

1. The Carrollton (Ga.) Orthopedic Clinic rebranded at the beginning of 2024, changing its logo and its name to OrthoWest.

2. NJ Spine and Wellness in Freehold rebranded to Alliance Orthopedics in early May as the practice joined Alliance Orthopedics' locations in Fair Lawn and Bloomfield, N.J.

3. Last year, physical therapy and injury care group Multi-Specialty Healthcare rebranded as Excelsia Injury Care and appointed George Goodwin its CEO.

4. In October 2022, Spine Nevada and Tahoe Fracture changed its name to Swift Institute.

5. In August 2022, New Hampshire-based orthopedic revenue management company PRL rebranded to Koha Health, expanding into strategic advisory services.

6. In June 2022, EmergeOrtho Wilmington changed its name to EmergeOrtho Coastal Region. The name change better reflects the communities the practice serves throughout the eastern region of North Carolina, President Shawn Hocker, MD, said.
