Tyber Medical gets wrist plating system cleared

Tyber Medical earned FDA 510(k) clearance for its new distal radius system, according to a Dec. 18 news release.

The plating system maintains stability and orientation in the anteroposterior plane and comes in either titanium or stainless steel. 

“The Tyber Medical Distal Radius System provides an innovative approach to address one of the most common fractures,” Tyber Medical CEO Jeff Tyber said in the release. “Additionally, the enhanced ergonomic design delivers a solution to reduce flexor tendon irritation, a common post operative concern.”
