Here are five orthopedics-focused practices to know:

Athens (Ga.) Orthopedic Clinic: Athens Orthopedic Clinic operates 17 locations across Georgia. It has a staff of 20 physicians and offers surgical and nonsurgical treatments, sports medicine, physical therapy and more. It recently broke ground on a 23,600-square-foot facility in Greensboro that is set to open early 2024.

Kansas City (Mo.) Orthopedic Alliance: Kansas City Orthopedic Alliance is the largest independent orthopedic practice in Kansas City and has a staff of more than 50 providers at six locations across Kansas and Missouri. It recently partnered with a price transparency platform to give patients an upfront price.

Modern Orthopaedics of New Jersey (Paramus): Modern Orthopaedics was founded in 2020 and has three locations across New Jersey. All three of its physicians — Peter DeNoble, MD, David Ratliff, MD, and Lorraine Stern, MD — were named Castle Connolly Top Doctors in 2022 and 2023. It recently opened its flagship location in Paramus. 

Orthopedic One (Columbus, Ohio): Orthopedic One has 60 orthopedic specialists and more than 100 physical and occupational therapists across its nine physician practices across Ohio and provides surgical services at multiple hospitals. It recently filed an application to develop a 60,000-square-foot multispecialty center in Gahanna, Ohio. 

Orthopedic & Spine Centers of Wisconsin (Madison): Orthopedic & Spine Centers of Wisconsin  has four locations. It has a staff of 12 specialists and uses a value-based care approach. It recently partnered with Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam (Wis.) to provide care at its locations on a weekly basis.
