The FDA’s reminder says Exactech patients without negative symptoms don’t need surgery, but they may be at risk for the implant failing sooner than it should.

In 2021 Exactech voluntarily recalled some joint replacements after the packaging wasn’t correctly sealed. In 2022, additional implants were recalled.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
