The first cases with Anika Therapeutics' RevoMotion reverse shoulder replacement system were completed, the devicemaker said Feb. 13.
RevoMotion reportedly has the industry's smallest diameter threated baseplate and is designed to preserve bone and provide flexibility, according to a news release. It comes with two instrument trays, making it convenient for outpatient settings.
The system is available in a limited release.
