Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Meads will perform hip fracture repairs, joint replacements and arthroscopic procedures at WARMC.
2. His arrival means fewer WARMC patients will be transferred to Vegas or Phoenix for orthopedic issues, according to Jena Morga, director of marketing at WARMC.
3. Dr. Meads is a captain in the U.S. Army Reserves Medical Corps. He recently completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pa.
