Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Melissa Boyette of Coastal Orthopedics

Melissa Boyette, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Coastal Orthopedics in Bradenton, Fla.

Dr. Boyette specializes in hand and wrist surgery, with interest areas including fractures, sprains, ligament tears and tendon lacerations and ruptures.

Dr. Boyette is an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society and American Society for Surgery of the Hand member. Her affiliations include Blake Medical Center and Manatee Memorial Hospital, both based in Bradenton.

After graduating from Tampa-based University of South Florida College of Medicine, Dr. Boyette completed a residency at Orlando (Fla.) Health and a fellowship at State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
