Orthopedic surgeon leader to know: Dr. Robert Foster of Florida Orthopaedic

Robert Foster, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Port St. Lucie-based Florida Orthopaedic.

After earning his medical degree and completing his internship and residency at Newark-based University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Foster completed his fellowship at UC Davis.

 

He specializes in treating hand and upper extremity injuries, especially those of the wrist, elbow and shoulder.

 

The American Society for the Surgery of the Hand awarded Dr. Foster its Joseph H. Boynes award for his research on hand disorders.

 

He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
