St. Mary’s Regional Joint Replacement Center celebrates 8th anniversary: 4 things to know

The Huntington, W.Va.-based St. Mary’s Regional Joint Replacement Center will celebrate its eight anniversary, according to the Herald-Dispatch.

Here’s what you need to know:

 

1. The center is slated to host an anniversary celebration on the evening of Wed., Sept. 28. The free event is sponsored by the medical device companies Smith & Nephew and ConforMIS.

 

2. During the anniversary event, Steven Lochow, MD, and Vivek Neginhal, MD, will present on developments in joint replacement technology.

 

3. St. Mary’s Regional Joint Replacement Center offers XP Preserving Knee, Oxford Partial Knee and Navio Partial Knee, among other joint replacement procedures.

 

4. The center focuses on patient education, including preoperative classes and daily newsletters.
