3 sports medicine partnerships in 2 weeks

From an extended university sports partnership to a Major League Baseball partnership, here are three important sports medicine partnerships since Feb. 23.

1. Fairfax, Va.-based Inova Sports Medicine has partnered with Major League Soccer team D.C. United. 

2. The University of Georgia Athletic Association extended its partnership with Atlanta-based Piedmont for 10 more years. 

3. Chicago-based Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine professor Stephen Gryzlo, MD, has been named head team physician for the Major League Baseball team the Chicago Cubs.
