Here are three developments in spine and orthopedic patents in 2025.

1. DiFusion Technologies earned a new U.S. patent for four methods to manufacture its ZFuze biomaterial for orthopedic implants.

2. Lenoss Medical’s OsteoPearl biologic allograft for spine earned two new U.S. patents and one European patent.

3. Medtech company SpineGuard received an intention to grant a patent on its universal adapter for orthopedic drills and robots from the U.S. Patent Office.
