3 orthopedic surgeons join Azra Care advisory board

Musculoskeletal artificial intelligence software provider Azra Care has added three orthopedic surgeons to its clinical advisory board.

New board members include Joseph Zuckerman, MD, chair of the department of orthopedic surgery at NYU Langone Health in New York City; Ronald Delanois, MD, the Dr. Ronald Delanois, Jerome P. Reichmister, M.D., Endowed Chair of Orthopedics at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore; and Ugo Ihekweazu, MD, hip and knee surgeon at the Texas Orthopedic Hospital in Houston. 

Azra Care is currently working on enhancing its platform capabilities in response to CMS’ new requirements for over 50% response rates in patient-reported outcomes for total hip and total knee replacements and the inclusion of social needs screening as a quality metric. 

Azra Care is also focused on initiatives to address racial disparities and promote health equity in musculoskeletal health, according to a Feb. 9 press release.
