2. Tampa-based Florida Orthopaedic Institute surgeon Christopher Baker, MD, performed the first surgeries using Anika Therapeutics’ Integrity Implant System, which is intended to promote healing in rotator cuff repair and other tendon procedures using a hyaluronic acid-based scaffold with bone and tendon fixation components and single use arthroscopic delivery instruments.
