University Orthopedics, Integlia hold groundbreaking ceremony for new facility: 5 things to know

Michael Integlia & Co., a Providence R.I.-based real estate firm, and University Orthopedics held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new medical facility in East Providence, R.I. Washington Trust Company is financing the development.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The ceremony welcomed Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo and physicians, among others.

 

2. The new 88,500-square-facility will rest on the Kettle Point waterfront site.

 

3. The new facility will offer orthopedic services.

 

4. University Orthopedics offers services for back and neck pain, joint pain, sports medicine, shoulder pain, hand, hip and knee pain, pediatrics as well as foot and ankle injury.

 

5. University Orthopedics has locations in Providence, Middletown, East Greenwich and Barrington, all in Rhode Island.
