Southern Plains Medical Center partners with Oklahoma Spine Hospital to expand spine program: 4 key points

Southern Plains Medical Center in Chickasha, Okla., affiliated with the Oklahoma Spine Hospital in Oklahoma City to expand its spine services, according to The Express-Star.

Here are four key points:

 

1. Under the partnership, SPMC opened The Spine Center at SPMC to provide community members with comprehensive neck and back services.

 

2. Bridger Cox, MD, of the Oklahoma Spine Hospital, will lead the efforts at the new center. He will work alongside two SPMC physicians.

 

3. The Oklahoma Hospital was established in 1999 and is one of the few area hospitals to earn the Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award.

 

4. Southern Plains Medical Center, part of Southern Plains Medical Group, provides medical, surgical, diagnostic, therapeutic and outpatient services to patients.
