Rothman Orthopaedics opens new larger location in Doylestown: 4 notes

Rothman Orthopaedics opened a new office in Doylestown Township, Pa.

Four things to know:

1. The new patient office is larger than the previous Doylestown location, which was located on the Doylestown (Pa.) Hospital campus.

2. The 1,800-square-foot facility provides orthopedic care, four exam rooms and an X-ray. Four surgeons will practice out of the new location, offering joint replacement, sports medicine and hand and wrist care.

3. Rothman Orthopaedics surgeons perform around 13,000 hip and knee replacements per year, as well as 3,000 spine procedures annually.

4. The practice includes team physicians for the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and 76ers.
