Rothman Institute to add Aria Orthopedics’ 6 physicians: 4 key notes

Philadelphia-based Rothman Institute added six physicians from Aria Orthopedics, also based in Philadelphia.

Here are four things to know.

1. The partnership between Rothman and Aria Orthopedics will begin May 14.

2. The six physicians joining Rothman include:
• Daniel Bronsnick, MD, a shoulder and elbow surgeon
• Thomas Corcoran, MD, a nonoperative sports medicine specialist
• Mark Desmond, MD, a general orthopedist
• Matthew McLean, MD, a sports medicine surgeon
• Christopher Selgrath, DO, a joint replacement surgeon
• Paul Steinfield, MD, a general orthopedic surgeon

3. Rothman will add office locations in Bensalem, Philadelphia and Newtown, Pa., as a result of the partnership. The new surgeons will continue to perform surgical cases at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia and Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne, Pa.

4. Rothman Institute includes 29 locations across Philadelphia, Limerick, Pa., and Marlton, N.J.
