Dallas-based Steward Medical Group renamed Phoenix-based Hedley Orthopaedic Institute as the Steward Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center, according to AZ Business Magazine.

1. The orthopedic clinic is the official partner of the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury.

2. Steward Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center comprises three offices throughout the area, 14 physicians and six advanced practitioners.

3. More than 10,000 patients were treated in 2017 by Steward Orthopedic & Sports Medicine providers.

4. Thomas Carter, MD, and C. Dain Allred, MD, joined the renamed practice.
